The Department of Tourism (NDT), in partnership with the National Cleaner Production Centre – South Africa (NCPC – SA) will train young people on the NCPC’s Fundamentals of Energy Management and Tourism Resource Efficient Cleaner Production Methodology (RECP). The training entails:

• Five (5) days training on Tourism Resource Efficient Cleaner Production (RECP); and
• A 6 months paid practical component, with NCPC mentorship, at a participating hospitality establishment in the Northern Cape.
  
  ELIGIBILITY

• South African citizen;
• An ordinary resident of the Northern Cape Province.
• Between 18 – 35 years;
• In possession of N6 Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or N6 Tourism/Hospitality Studies from a public Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) in the Northern Cape.
