The MEC for Sport, Arts and Culture Mr. Lebogang Motlhaping on behalf of the Provincial Government and the Sports fraternities in the Northern Cape would hereby like to pass our condolences and sympathies to the Henyakane family on the sudden loss of Joseph.

The death of Joseph,  leaves a deep void in the soccer fraternity , more especially in the Northern Cape where he was currently training with the Police Soccer team in order to keep fit .The mere fact that he was training with them was extremely beneficial to the team, as he was transferring his knowledge and skill he gained in the Premier League Soccer league to local amateurs. 

We are sadden and sorry for your loss. "Our thoughts and prayers are with the Henyekane family and the deceased’s friends at this difficult time. We will be keeping you in our thoughts”.
