When will construction on the Maloof Money Cup Skateboarding Park in Kimberley commence? Is that the correct name of the park? If not, please give me the correct name. When will it be finished? How much will it cost? Who are the stakeholders? (As far as I know it is the NC tourism and De Beers?) When exactly will the event be held? How many tourists are expected to flock to the Northern Cape for this event? What will the purpose of this park be once the Money Cup is finished? How much money can be won at the Money Cup? Are you excited about the prospects of this development? What will the host of the Money Cup mean for the Northern Cape and specifically Kimberley? Economic impact
Branding the province
Job creation
Skills development
Economic transformation
Promotion of responsible and sustainable tourism
Yes, the fact that this skatepark will be established as the championship skatepark of the world for 3 years, which will ensure that skateboarders from all over the world would want to be part of the Maloof Money Cup. The event is youth orientated, allow for individual development and inexpensive to enter (only a skateboard is required)
