DEDaT’s Management Strategic Session PDF Print E-mail

The Department of Economic Development and Tourism ( DEDaT) held its Management Strategic Session at the Protea Big Hole Hotel from 11-12 February 2016. The aim of the session was to develop a new APP for the department, to align DEDaT’s plan with National Plans and Policies and to ensure that the plans address the triple challenges of poverty, unemployment and inequality. In essence, DEDaT has to ensure that its plans achieve what it sets out to achieve for the benefit of the people of the Northern Cape.

7th annual Northern Cape Writers Festival PDF Print E-mail

Northern Cape authors and poets will once again converge in different platforms to share their writing skills and expertise during the 7th Northern Cape Writers Festival. The 2016 festival will be held in all five districts of the province from Friday, 19 February 2016. It will be celebrated under a theme “Celebrating Democracy” with the first event to be held at Hartswater in Phokwane Municipal area on Friday and Saturday 19 and 20 February 2016.
