Purpose :
To lead tourism growth, developmentand destination promotion in the Northern Cape
Functions:
- To achieve good corporate governance and cooperative governance in the Tourism Directorate.
- To improve the impact of tourism on the economy in the Northern Cape.
- To strengthen the collaboration and partnerships within the tourism sector.
- To improve the competitiveness, growth and sustainability of the Northern Cape tourism industry.
- To ensure that tourism priorities are integrated within the plans of sector directorates, Departments and municipalities.
- To improve tourism sector information and knowledge management.
