Following the successful launch of the Integrated Public Service Month yesterday, the Minister of Public Service and Administration, Inkosi Mzamo Buthelezi today conducted an oversight visit to monitor the delivery of health care services at Robert Mangaliso Sobukwe hospital in Kimberley. The Minister was accompanied by Health MEC, Mr Maruping Lekwene, Public Service Commissioner, Mr Anele Gxoyiya, among others. This visit forms part of the recognition of September as Public Service Month, under the theme: "Building a Professional Public Service for Inclusive Quality Service Delivery”. This month is aimed at promoting public sector innovation, efficiency, and service delivery, and it is commemorated with various events, campaigns, and activities organized to highlight the importance of public service and encourage public servants to excel in their roles.
