Vooma vaccination weekend

On the 8th to the 10th of April 2022, is yet another Vooma Vaccination Weekend and the Northern Cape's Department of Health (NCDOH) is a it again.

For this Vooma Vaccination Weekend the NCDOH has opened more vaccination sites throughout the entire province, getting more people ready for the Easter weekend. These sites would be open to the public throught the weekend.

What is more exciting is the fact that one does not need to have a home address to vaccinate. Any person, with or without ID or papers, can get vaccinated at all public vaccination sites, one just walks in and you will be welcomed at all vaccination sites.

To date, the province has administered a cumulative total of 677 608 vaccine doses to qualifying people since the start of the vaccination programme on 17 Feb 2021.

From the total doses given, individuals have received at least one dose 421 261 (excluding booster vaccine) while 390 108 people are fully vaccinated (either with a single dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine or seconded dose Pfizer vaccine).

Individuals who have received at least one dose of the vaccine account for 49,70 % of the province target population (70% of Adult Population), while 46.03% are fully vaccinated.

Anyone can now vaccinate with or without documents. Go to any public VoomaWeekend vaccination site for vaccination this weekend.
