Bio

Magenthran is the Technical Director at Transnet National Ports Authority with over 28 years of experience in the port engineering sector. He has enjoyed numerous roles at Transnet during this time, from Project Engineer to Port Engineer at different ports typically responsible for the development and implementation of port infrastructure as well as the maintenance of these assets in the port operational environment.

One of his current tasks involves him playing the role as Programme Lead for the New Port and Rail Development in the Northern Cape. An integral infrastructure element in the transport corridor for the various commodity sectors in the province.
