MEC LEKWENE LAUNCHED THE NEWLY-REFURBISHED KITCHEN AT ROBERT MANGALISO SOBUKWE HOSPITAL IN KIMBERLEY, AT A COST OF R51 MILLION
In our quest to improve the working conditions of health personnel and further strengthen the internal standard operating procedures in health care facilities across the Province, the Northern Cape Health MEC, Mr Maruping Lekwene officiated the launch of the newly refurbished kitchen facility at Robert Mangaliso Sobukwe hospital in Kimberley, earlier today.This is in line and consistent with the commitment made by MEC Lekwene in the previous financial year, to turn Robert Mangaliso Sobukwe hospital, into a ‘State of the Art’ facility. The delegation in attendance during the official ceremony includes; - the HOD for Health, Mr Mxolisi Mlatha, Head of Ministry, Ms Lorato Moleleki and Senior management in the Department of Health, including Roads, & Public Works Department. In his remarks, MEC Lekwene thanked the management and staff of the hospital for ensuring stability in the delivery of health services to communities.
