Functions

Render regional economic planning support to municipalities as per the national LED Framework

Coordinate and support regional economic planning and implementation forum on provincial level and support on district level

Provide regional economic capacity building to the local municipalities

Render project support for catalyst projects in the regional and local space

Provide EPWP Sector planning and reporting as per EPWP guidelines

Implement and report EPWP projects in the regional and local space

Identify townships with need and potential for development
