The Northern Cape Provincial Government joins with the rest of the country and the world in mourning the passing of our former state President, Mr. Nelson Mandela. In honouring the memory of Mr. Nelson Mandela various dignified activities will take place during this week across the Province in preparation for the first Sate funeral in a democratic South Africa.
nike air max invigor mid wheat ridge parkToday sees the Premier, Ms Sylvia Lucas, attending a prayer service at the St Matthews Anglican Church in Upington to honour the late President with the people of ZF Mgcawu District. Similar services will be taking place across the Province where Members of the Executive Council will be officiating.

Books of condolences have also been placed at the Office of the Premier, Provincial Legislature, the Kimberley City Hall and all Municipalities for members of the public to sign. The public is also encouraged to lay wreaths at the City Hall in Kimberley as well town halls in the smaller towns.
