The Premier of the Northern Cape, Ms Hazel Jenkins will be accompanied by Mr. John Block MEC for Economic Development and Finance, to attend the South Africa-Singapore Trade and Investment seminar with the express aim to promote South Africa and in particular our Province as a Trade and Investment destination in Singapore. This business visit is taking place from the 27 of February till the 04 march 2010.

This occasion will also serves as a significant business networking opportunity as well as to attract investors to invest in our province.

The MEC for Education, Ms Grizelda Cjiekela has been appointed as Acting Premier for the duration of the absence of Premier. Whilst the MEC for Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs, Kenney Mmoiemang will Act as MEC for Economic Development and Finance.
