Premier Hazel Jenkins extends her sincere condolences to the family, comrades, colleagues and friends of Comrade and MPL Lesego Manyetsa who tragically passed on in a car accident on 29 January 2011.

Comrade Manyetsa's untimely calling by the Good Lord certainly leaves a void in the Northern Cape body politic in general, and the Northern Cape Provincial Legislature in particular.

As a proud, fearless and dedicated fighter for the freedom and justice, this heroine's unique qualities and attributes will indeed be solely missed.
