The Northern Cape Province will be the first to host the international Maloof Money Cup skateboarding championship outside of its home base. The Maloof Money Cup is an internationally broadcast three-day, five event skateboarding event, competition and festival. The skateboarding championships to be held in Kimberley on 30 September 2011 - 02 October 2011, places the Northern Cape as the home of extreme sports in South Africa.
