The Acting Premier of the Northern Cape Province, Ms Grizelda Cjiekella is leading a delegation to Ireland to attend Ireland’s South Africa week in Dublin from 19 – 29 April 2013. The Acting Premier will be accompanied by the MEC for Finance, Economic Development and Tourism, Mr John Block and the MEC for Sport, Arts and Culture, Ms Pauline Williams.

The main objective of the visit is to build international partnerships that will contribute to the achievement of the national priorities, especially the drive to create decent jobs for South Africans.

The week will also focus on profiling our culture, heritage, tourism, trade and investment opportunities.

The MEC for Environment and Nature Conservation, Ms Sylvia Lucas will be sworn in tomorrow as Acting Premier for the duration of the absence of the Acting Premier, Ms Grizelda Cjiekella.
