The Acting Premier of the Northern Cape, Ms Sylvia Lucas has learnt with great sadness and shock about the untimely death of SABC 2 Morning Live presenter Vuyo Mbuli. Our hearts go out to the family and friends of Vuyo Mbuli during this most difficult time in their lives, she said.

As an experienced broadcaster, Vuyo Mbuli has made a remarkable contribution to the journalistic profession through his provocative, enlightened, informative and interactive journalistic method of engagement. There was seldom a day that goes by without Vuyo charming us and brightening our days with his delightful commentaries in our living rooms. He was part of our families

His passing has left an indelible mark in the journalistic profession.

His magnanimous personality and insightful observations will solely be missed by all of us.
