The Department of Health, Department of Social Development and the Moral regeneration Movement in the Office of the Premier met with the Inter-faith Society yesterday, 19th March 2020 to discuss the Provincial response to the Corona Virus Outbreak at the Protea Hotel.

The meeting is part of a series of consultations the Provincial Government is undertaking with leaders across various sectors of society to ensure that the Provincial effort to combat and contain the virus is inclusive and enjoys the support of all stakeholder groups.

The Northern Cape Inter-faith Society reaffirm its commitment to create a caring, united and cohesive society, free of violence, discrimination and diseases.

We call on all Faith Based Leaders to preach the gospel of prevention and adherence to the Government gazette and the President’s pronouncements on how to deal with this disease.
