The Deputy Minister of Basic Education, Dr Reginah Mhauleand Northern Cape MEC for Education,  Mr  Zolile  Monakaliwill from Tomorrow, Tuesday  22  September 2020  visit schools across the John Taolo Gaetsewe (JTG) District in the Northern Cape.

The oversight visits come as the nation and the sector moveto Alert level 1 restrictions, andwelcomeback Teachers who were previously grantedconcessions from returning to the  classroom.  This  two-day  visit  by  the  Deputy  Minister  will  provide  an  opportunity  to provide support to the schools and conduct monitoringof efforts put in place to ensure that the risk of infection is minimized and health conditions are improved.

The schools are located within the Kuruman and Kathu areas of the Northern Cape.
