Premier Dr. Zamani Saul today led a delegation, which included Members of the Executive Council and the leadership of the Provincial House of Traditional Affairs, in an engagement with the Minister of Water and Sanitation, Mr Senzo Mchunu together with the Deputy Minister's Mr David Mahlobo and Ms Dikeledi Magadzi. The engagement comes as a  follow-up of an engagement which was held last year.

The aim of the session is to ensure that we accelerate service delivery especially as it relates to matters pertaining to water and sanitation.

In his input Premier addressed challenges experienced by municipalities with the delivery of Water to our communities and ailing sewerage infrastructure which results in the sewerage and water spillages across the Province.

As Government we appreciate such engagements that will ensure that we deliver quality services to the people of this Province. 

The Minister and Deputy Minister's will throughout their stay in the Province engage different stakeholders.  By implementing the district development model, Government  remains committed to accelerating service delivery to our communities.
