Premier Dr. Zamani Saul together with the MEC for Education, Mr Zolile Monakali and the MEC for Finance, Economic Development and Tourism, Mr Abraham Vosloo will on behalf of Provincial Government officially hand over the new Douglas Primary School to the learners, parents, teachers and community in Douglas.

This is a state of the art school with a range of facilities that are meant to be beneficial to both the learners and the community. It will therefore be important that the community takes ownership of the school and protect it against vandalism.

This bodes well for infrastructure development in the Province and seeks to boost education for the children in the Pixley Ka Seme District.

In his input, Premier Dr Zamani Saul emphasised that the quality of the school needs to match the quality of the learners coming to the school. A school stands on three legs; It’s educators, it’s learners and it’s parents. With the joint working of all three legs, Douglas Primary will be a very successful school.
