Premier Saul to Launch the Bereka-Mosha Programme

The Premier, Dr. Zamani Saul, will, on behalf of the Northern Cape Provincial Government, officially launch the Bereka Mosha programme in Upington tomorrow. The programme is aimed at ensuring that we provide approximately 150 youth with either job opportunities, Internships and employment across the Province. This will take place under the following Programmes:

  • Vota Lotsha Brigade, a Programme of the Ministry of Youth, Women, People living with Disabilities, Communication and eGovernment.  These young people will assist the Provincial Government in successfully executing a one-year voter education drive that seeks to ensure that young people are registered and educated around the importance of voting;
  • In partnership with the Financial and Accounting Sector Education and Training Authority, about 50 young graduates will be placed at the Northern Cape Provincial Treasury for the skills development program.
  • Through the Department of Sports Arts and Culture, 30 Library Assistants and 17 Sports coordinators will also be trained and placed in libraries across the Province.

These programmes will ensure that youth are properly skilled to ensure that they are ready for the job market as well as providing employment to youth that will positively address our youth employment initiatives.
