As part of ongoing efforts to improve the quality of Education in the Northern Cape, MEC Abraham Vosloo visited several schools across the district to deliver needed resources from financial support and infrastructure development to learning materials and school supplies.
SA van Wyk High School - Science Laboratory Boost Daring the 50th anniversary celebrations at SA van Wyk High School, MEC Vosloo announced a R100,000 donation towards the development of a new Science Laboratory. The school also received 100 scientific calculators and stationery packs, supporting its focus on Maths and Science excellence.
Okiep Primary School - Stationery and Uniform Support MEC Vosloo continued his outreach at Okiep Primary School, where he handed over 100 stationery packs and pledged the donation of 100 school uniforms. He praised the school’s operations and commitment to learners' welfare.
Wielie Walie Kindergarten - Early Childhood Development focus at center to centre in Bergsig, MEC Vosloo and LUR Bentley Vass announced a R100,000 funding allocation to improve early learning facilities, reaffirming government's priority on early childhood development.
Dr. Izak van Niekerk Primary School - Infrastructure and Learner Support in Bergsig, Dr. Izak van Niekerk Primary School received R50,000 and 500 chairs to support the completion of their school hall. The MEC also distributed 100 stationery packs to deserving learners.
