Members of the media were invited to a media briefing by the Acting Premier of the Northern Cape, Mr. Alwin Botes on Friday, 15 July 2011.The Department of International Relations and Cooperation hosted its Heads of Mission Conference in the Northern Cape on 15 – 16 July 2011. The Conference brought together all South African Heads of Mission from a hundred and twenty-four missions in a hundred and ten countries for an engagement on issues critical to the delivery of South Africa’s foreign policy can concretely support delivery on domestic priorities, as well as strategizing on South Africa’s response to national, regional and global developments.
