Career/Membership/Positions & other Activities:

• 1990-1996 taught at the Bosheng Middle School and assisted learners to organise themselves through COSAS.
• 1995-1999 – Served as a member of the Black Rock Development Forum
• 1997-1998 was a District Coordinator for ABET employed by the Mmabatho Adult Literacy and Education Trust (MALET).
• 1998-2001- Provincial Coordinator for ABET employed by the National Literacy Cooperation (NLC) an NGO in partnership with the Department of Education.
• 2001-2002 – Worked for Statistics South Africa as a fieldwork Supervisor.
• 2002-2005 – Regional Secretary of the Kgalagadi Youth Council.
• 2004-2008 – Manager for the Kgalagadi Human Resource Development Foundation.
• 2008-2010 – Mayoral Committee member at the John TaoloGaetsewe District Municipality seconded from Joe Morolong Local Municipality.
• Served as the District Chairperson of the Home Affairs Forum. (2009-2012
• MPL in the Northern Cape Provincial Legislature ( Appointed as MEC for Sport,Arts and Culture
