This campaign aims to encourage positive action of taking responsibility for one’s health through testing for HIV, TB screening, community interaction/dialogue with Health MEC, door-to-door visits and health walks. This campaign is in line with social and moral reconstruction of our communities whereby health services will be provided as well as giving communities the opportunity to raise their concerns and challenges in the health sector with government leaders.

Furthermore, as part of the campaign, MEC Sokatsha will introduce two new NGO’s that will provide much needed services to these respective communities. The MEC will also engage with local clinic committees to address challenges faced and responsibilities of the committees.

Services to be rendered will be rendered at community halls from 09h00 and will include HIV Counseling and Testing, Dental and Eye clinics, Blood pressure testing, Sugar level testing, Male and Female condom distribution.

We call upon all communities targeted, to support the campaign and access the services to be rendered to ensure we build healthy communities.

Working together, we can do more!
