The Northern Cape Department of Social Development will hold a performance information session to advise and guide strategic partners on the successful implementation of the department's performance information monitoring model. The event will take place on Tuesday, 21 June 2011 at the Flamingo casino in Kimberley, Frances Baard region.

The Northern Cape Department of Social Development received a clean audit on Performance Information for the 2009 / 2010 Financial Year. The Auditor General expressed an unqualified opinion on the Performance Information. The performance information sharing session to be conducted by the Department of Social Development is due to our successful model which will be presented to our strategic partners and officials within the Monitoring and Evaluation Unit , Strategic Planners ranging from Service Delivery to Administration.

Therefore the main aim of the session is to advise and guide strategic planners to engage in a performance information monitoring process utilizing the strategic plan , Annual Performance Plan and Operational Plan to report and account by means of evidence , services rendered to communities and how allocated resources have been utilized to do so.
